What do I pay for?

Second opinion: 50 € for Salamtak coordination, plus the specialist’s fee. Treatment in Germany: 90 € for Salamtak coordination; hospital care, tests and treatment are quoted separately. You see the full price before you agree. You pay Salamtak after your case is accepted.

What will I receive?

Second opinion: a specialist’s written assessment in English and one bundled written follow-up round. Treatment in Germany: for 90 €, we organise your records, approach suitable clinics and coordinate their responses. Medical care and travel are not included. A place in a clinic or a medical outcome cannot be guaranteed.

How long does it take?

Second opinion: 10 German business days after complete records, specialist acceptance and payment. A later agreed start moves the deadline. We tell you if the clock pauses for missing documents. Treatment timing is set in your offer.

Can I get a refund?

No suitable specialist: no payment. Cancel after payment but before work starts: full refund. Once work starts, only lawfully chargeable, documented work may be deducted. If we cannot deliver the agreed opinion, you receive a full refund. If we miss the agreed deadline, you can accept a new date or request a refund. Your legal rights remain unchanged.

Who sees my documents?

Salamtak prepares a reviewed medical case for selected specialists in Germany. Your identity is stored separately. This is pseudonymisation, not full anonymity. Vezeeta does not receive your medical documents or report. See Privacy for details.

What happens after I send my case?

We check your records and contact you if anything is missing. You receive the service scope and full price before you agree. Salamtak then coordinates your case and keeps you informed.

Privacy

Your identity is kept separately from the medical case shared for review. Salamtak can reconnect the case to you when needed. This is pseudonymisation: it does not make the case anonymous, and data protection rules still apply.

I explicitly consent to Salamtak storing and processing my health information and medical documents to prepare, organise, translate where needed and coordinate my requested service. I authorise necessary sharing with selected qualified specialists and clinics in Germany and the disclosed service providers. My identity is held separately from the case prepared for medical review. I have read who processes my data, where, for how long and how to withdraw consent in the Privacy notice. Withdrawal does not undo lawful processing already carried out and may stop the service. This permission does not cover advertising, research or AI training.

Service & refunds

Second-opinion coordination costs 50 €, including any applicable tax. This covers checking and organising your documents, finding a suitable specialist and coordinating your case. The specialist’s medical assessment is a separate fee. We show you that fee and the complete total before you agree or pay. Treatment in Germany coordination costs 90 €, including any applicable tax. It covers organising your records, approaching suitable clinics and coordinating their responses. Hospital care, tests, clinical treatment, travel and accommodation are not included and are quoted separately. No payment is due when you first send your case.

The agreed second-opinion medical fee covers one written assessment by a qualified specialist in Germany, an English report and one bundled written round of questions about that report. Extra opinions, fresh radiology or pathology interpretation, video calls, tests, treatment, hospital admission, travel and visas are not included unless expressly quoted. For Treatment in Germany, the scope is the coordination and written response specified in your personal offer. Clinical treatment requires a separate agreement. A result or admission cannot be guaranteed.

The initial second-opinion report is due within 10 German business days after all required records are complete, the specialist has accepted the case and payment is confirmed. If you agree a later work-start date, the 10 business days begin on that date. We tell you the due date. If we need additional records from you, we tell you when the clock pauses and provide an updated due date when it resumes. No fixed time is promised for screening, the follow-up round or treatment enquiries.

No suitable specialist or an unsuitable case: no payment. Cancel after payment before commissioned work begins: full refund. Cancel during work: only documented work that can lawfully be charged is deducted, with an itemised explanation; the rest is refunded. If we cannot deliver the agreed opinion: full refund. If the agreed deadline is exceeded, excluding notified waits for your documents, you may agree a new date or request a refund. A properly delivered opinion that differs from your expectations does not by itself create an extra voluntary refund right. Missing records first trigger a request and pause, not automatic loss of payment. Mandatory consumer, withdrawal and defective-service rights are preserved. Salamtak handles payments and approved refunds through the original payment route. Provider processing time is communicated, not guaranteed.
